Incorporating modern design and traditional bourbon materials, each phase of bourbon production is fully transparent and designed to scale as production grows. To date, 16 rickhouses have been built and four more are under construction, along with the ongoing expansion of the distillery, cistern room, fermenters and tank farm. In 2020, we were selected to design their new 50,000 SF bottling facility. This building allows Bardstown Bourbon Company to grow their mission as one of the most advanced distilleries in the country and offer full-service whiskey production to their customers. Along with bottling and the state-of-the-art labs the bourbon-making process was curated to offer a unique visitor experience.
